The Katy Trail

Today I started riding West on the Katy trail. It is a 225-mile-long bike path which used to be part of the MKT railroad line connecting Missouri, Kansas, and Texas. I got on at Marthasville with the idea to take it as far west as it goes - to Clinton, MO.

The scenery was gorgeous the whole way. Most of the trail follows the Missouri River, and there are often cliffs on the other side of the trail.

I thought this building being eaten by plants made for an interesting picture.

There were even a few tunnels along the way.

I love the building being eaten by plants. It would be cool if you could have your house look like that without actually having the plants be eating your house.
